Four-year varsity soccer letterman and Senior Captain, Amaya Quintal leaves a big impact at Merritt Island. Quintal is a three-time Region-3 FHSAA Finalist, two-time Regional Champion and a member of the 2018 4A State Championship team.
She was also a Max Preps Player of the Game twice.
Quintal excelled in leadership and completed the National Federation of State High School Association’s (NFHS) Captains Course. Amaya is a fantastic athlete and an even better role model amongst her peers.
The four-year varsity athlete, Amaya comes to training sessions eager to learn and embraces coaching suggestions. On the field, she’s a very reliable player and consistently makes a positive impact in games. She has a high soccer IQ, great anticipation, strong in the air, fierce competitor, and competes with all she has for a full 80 minutes.
Her contribution to Merritt Island High School will be remembered for years to come.
