MERRITT ISLAND, Florida – (As reported by Florida Today)
The Cape Coast Conference awarded David F. St. John Memorial Scholarships to seniors Paige Jaszczak of Titusville and Brady Denaburg of Merritt Island, honoring the memory of the commissioner who served the association from 1975 through October 1991.
Denaburg won three letters in both soccer and baseball, and he produced a 4.27 weighted GPA while doing so. He was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.

Merritt Island High School is an accredited public high school in Brevard County, Florida. The school offers classes for grades 9-12, including Honors courses, Advanced Placement courses, and courses with the Dual Enrollment program at Eastern Florida State College.
