BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –
The Merritt Island boys soccer team shutout the Choctawatchee Indians 5-0 on Friday night to win for the Class 3A state championship title at Eastern Florida State College.
After a 21-1-01 season, Merritt Island boys bring home the FHSAA 3A championship. The Mustangs were on a 12-game winning streak headed to the state championship, conceding just one loss during regular season.
Merritt Island score more than 100 goals over the season.
